My elder daughter is nearly 7. Gifted child. Ridiculously stubborn, over passionate and a huge manipulator herself. Manipulation is the key tool in my toolbox and I am completely unashamed about using it. (Yesterday when she insisted on shutting down the computer the wrong way I told her she had broke it and unplugged it "to go and be fixed) and doesn't that show that you should ALWAYS LISTEN TO MUMMY!") So ... do what you need to liberate yourself from Scooby Doo!
He was playing tickle wars with my nephew, Liam (14), and in the midst of it began crying, so Liam of course put him down and stopped all of a sudden, when James immediately calms and springs his attack.
I doubt Once Upon a Time is going ot do much harm... unless I let him watch the pieces where there's murder and very bad things. I will have to keep an eye out.
I was raised on a steady diet of everything my parents were watching, from Dirty Dancing to The Terminator, and I turned out just fine. Well, mostly fine. Somewhat functional. I'M NOT A TOTAL SOCIOPATH, OKAY.
Hey, Dirty Dancing should be compulsory viewing. It's awesome! It never did me any harm! (besides being highly disappointed in my teenage summer camps).
Hee, not a total sociopath is exactly the level I'm trying to reach with my kids. ;)
Is Fred really "clean-cut athletic" and not just "differently sexualed"?
Yes, avoid the wolf eating human scene... although he did manage the Trolls on the Troll bridge and they were pretty fierce. I might try and steer him clear of the Emma Caulfield scenes, too. She was pretty darn freaky.

Yeah, my head to heads with James are almost always going to be intellectual.
Michael, on the other hand, is already beginning to try outright screaming matches.

I was raised on Star Trek so either take that as a sign your kidlets will be okay or a terrible warning.

At least OUaT sounds like it has good kiddie potential as long as you avoid the clips with men eaten by wolves.
