The wrong kind of smarts

My car is trying to become the stereotypical Jewish mother that I never had.  It worries about many things and makes sure I am aware of potential mistakes I might make in the future.  Sometimes this is helpful, like on the few occasions I've had to manually turn on the headlights and it has reminded me to turn them off.  Usually though, the car ( Read more... )

It was totally the bunch of kale that put it over the edge. Did you end up buckling in your groceries?

I do agree with your car about worrying when you're driving with the parking brake on. :)

My mom's car does that... my Dad, despite being in a state where it's a punishable offense to drive without your seatbelt on, still refuses to wear a seatbelt. For a while he was driving with one hand and holding the seatbelt as near the clicking mechanism as possible without ACTUALLY clicking in the seatbelt. I have no idea what this accomplished... but it made him feel better for a while and caused the awful beeping to stop. Then he finally gave in.

Just wait until you get the weather outside is below 37 degrees beep and the gas level is below 1/4 of a tank beep... yes, these do exist.
