Must-miss movie of the week

Marley & Me. Very possibly the worst movie of 2008. Characters bland, boring, and unbelievable, plot nonexistent, and the dog doesn't get nearly enough screen time. I wasn't expecting much from this movie, but its awfulness exceeded my wildest expectations.

Has anyone seen a decent movie lately? I'd like to end the year on a positive note.

I hear "Milk" is wonderful, but I haven't seen it yet.

That's a shame. The book is hysterical and dear.

But I can see how the movie would struggle to capture the book. The 'plot' of the arc of the author's life is really in the background while you hear of Marley's adventures. It's only at the end you realize all the life lived.
