Title: Girl Anachronism
Summary: No more Lazarus. No more Harry. They're through with men; they shan't be tricked again.
Characters: Tish x Lucy
Genre: Angst, Femmeslash
A/N: This feels a bit disjointed and what I'd love is a beta, but I'm not sure how to go about getting one for such a weird pairing. Inspired by Meilin's Valiant, in which Tish ( Read more... )

I'll admit the pairing isn't my thing, but I read it and enjoyed it nonetheless. I think it was quite well-written actually, although I'm sorry I can't offer anything more in-depth than that.

Heck, I'm glad you thought it was well-written. That's pretty high praise from someone who doesn't fancy the pairing. Thanks!

Aww, heh heh, well you're very welcome. And I do at least like Lucy very much, if that helps somewhat (which is what made me click the link to begin with.) I thought you wrote her very well. XD

Lucy is pretty awesome. There's just so much that people can do with her.

I'm...I'm flabbergasted! This is so meta! :) You can always ask me to beta, I'd have been honored--though fair warning, I'm a tough but kind beta. Thank you for the nice words about "Valiant." I have never thought about Tish and Lucy's relationship after the Year, but I could see Lucy doing this.

ETA: And! May I friend? I didn't realize you wrote "Unnecessary Name Tyler," which was full of LOLs. :)

I'm glad you liked this piece and didn't think I was encroaching on your playground, as it were. ^_^ Did I mention that I really, really liked Valiant? (I guess you might have guessed when I reviewed practically every chapter... *cough.*)

Friending may absolutely happen. As for tough but kind beta-ing, probably what the bad pun Doctor ordered. :)

Encroached on my playground? No. If you'd written a Shae piece, I might have been a bit tetchy but only if you didn't let me beta it for appropriate Shaeness. ;)

Heh, I know better (I should think) than to borrow another person's OC without asking. But I've seen people write fics and admit that they're the red-headed stepchildren of/inspired by other fics so I figured that would be proper etiquette at least....

If you can handle "Full Metal Beta," which includes typos, characterization, phrasing, etc. you can always email me at kitty64ster@gmail.com.

I'm looking forward to reading this as I love rare-pairs and there is NOT enough femslash in the DW/TW universe. Plus I love Lucy. (Heheh). Printing out and will come back with detailed comment later.

Oh my! I seem to be attracting betas much more easily than I'd previously expected. :)

Dude! Tish fic! *calms down* I re-watched the Lazurus Experiment and LOTL a couple of weeks ago and came to the sudden realisation that Tish is in fact made of awesome and there should be far more stories about her. I love how odd and damaged Lucy is, in this and how practical they both are about things.

(Also the psychiatrist is excellently shallow and useless)

Tish is a great character and I hope that we get to see more of her. It would be easy to mistake her for a mini!Martha, but then you have to take into account that she's made different career choices and has had different experiences than her sister. And Lucy is like looking into a kaleidoscope. I'm not sure I'll ever be bored of her.

Tiny disclaimer re: the psychiatrist... not my opinion of the profession as a whole! Just a bit of social commentary that crept in. Thought it'd be more interesting than an utterly sympathetic and credulous therapist.
