Ed and Su were gone. Whatever that might mean to Willow, she knew it meant a very great deal to Peter. She also knew he was probably going to be his usual self about it, which meant being stiff upper-lippy and not admitting that he had a case of the frets

Peter wasn't aware there were anything going on beyond a message from Willow to meet her in her rooms. Which wasn't anything all that surprising, but he washed up quickly from a session of sparring and made his way to her door, tapping quietly on the outer door to her rooms.

Willow got up to get the door. She smiled when she saw Peter. "Hi."

He smiled when he saw her then bowed. "You look lovely," he said, eyes wide. "More beautiful than normal even."

Willow gave a curtsey. "Thank you. New dress! Lucy-approved and everything. Which is good because I'm convinced one of these days I'll wear a dress that's not the right type for an event and it'll be the Narnian version of going out practically naked except for the wearing clothes part. Luckily I don't mind if you see me naked, with clothes or without."
