------------------------

Anna and Will had moved into their house right after their honeymoon, which had been in Ireland. They had invited everyone over for a housewarming party. The entire cast of Narnia was there including the filmmakers as well as family. Everyone had been in awe of the beautiful house. Mrs. Popplewell was concerned because it was located in the middle of nowhere, but Anna and Will had assured her that it was in the middle of nowhere, but it was only fifteen to twenty minutes to the nearest anything. They had also told Anna’s mother that they wanted the seclusion from the press. No one knew about the house except their closest family and friends. Anna was now six months along and her hormones were definitely taking over. There were days when Will wanted to run and hide, but didn’t…afraid of the repercussions. Today was one of those days.

Will sat on their bed watching his wife tear through her closet for something to wear. They were going to meet Georgie and Skandar for dinner in an hour so they needed to leave soon.

“Anna, love…just pick something…” sighed Will.

“I don’t look good in anything…half my clothes don’t fit me because I’m fat…” Anna said.

Rolling his eyes, Will said, “You’re not fat…you’re pregnant…there’s a difference…I personally think you look beautiful…”

“You’re only saying that because you want me to shut up…”

“Perhaps…but it’s still true…”

“You’re not funny, William…”

“Anna, please…we’re going to be late…”

After another fifteen minutes, Anna decided on a black cocktail dress that her mother had bought her recently. It was a little snug, but it was comfortable. She put on a pair of matching shoes, grabbed her purse, and they were finally ready to go.

---------------------------

“You don’t think something happened, do you?” Georgie asked. Skandar glanced at his watch wondering why Anna and Will were almost twenty minutes late. They had already been seated at their table and had told the waiter three or four times to come back in a few minutes.

“I’m sure they’re fine…” Skandar replied, although he was beginning to think the same thing.

“Anna’s never late…and neither is Will for that matter…”

Skandar turned his gaze from the restaurant door to Georgie, whose face was nervous and worried. Reaching over the table, Skandar placed a hand over hers, which were twisting a napkin, “Relax, brat…They’ll be here any minute…”

Georgie smiled her thanks at his attempt to comfort her, but it didn’t quite reach her eyes until she looked up at the door to see Will and Anna heading towards them.

“See,” Skandar said. He stood from his seat and greeted Will with an embrace and Anna with a kiss on the cheek. “We were getting worried…”

“Sorry…I couldn’t find anything to wear and there was a bit a traffic that we didn’t expect…” Anna said embracing Georgie.

“Next time call…” Georgie scolded.

“Sorry, love…” said Will, hugging his youngest costar.

When they were all seated and had looked over the menu, the waiter approached the table once again, but this time was able to take an order. After he made sure he took down their orders properly, the waiter collected the menus and left the table.

“How have you been feeling, Anna?” Georgie asked.

“Alright, I suppose…Tired and fat…” she answered.

Sighing heavily, Will rebutted, “For the last time…you are not fat, Anna.”

“Shut up, Will…” Anna snapped.

Skandar and Georgie looked at each other. They had been hoping for pleasant evening with their friends, whom they hadn’t seen for about a month. It didn’t seem like they were going to get it.

“Have you been having fun at Skandar’s?” Will inquired to Georgie.

“Yes…Now that my mum is home schooling me and what not, I have more free time which is nice…she decided I needed a break and I didn’t want to burden you two…”

“Yes, so instead she’s getting on my nerves…” Skandar said.

“Very funny considering I’ve been spending most of my time with your sister…” Georgie retorted.

Will laughed and asked what she meant, but Skandar was the one who answered.

“Well, the brat’s completely forgotten about me and has been hanging out with Soumaya everyday…she sleeps in my sister’s room and you can hear them giggling like crazy all hours into the night…and at ungodly hours in the morning while I’m trying to sleep…it’s been an amusing visit…but I think it’s time for her to leave…”

Georgie stuck her tongue out at Skandar and turned her gaze back to Will and Anna. Despite the fact that they had obviously been arguing, whenever the Moseley’s would chance a glance at one another there was nothing but love in their eyes. Even if some of their glances were actually glares.

“So have you two decided to find out the sex of the baby yet?” questioned Georgie.

“Actually…that’s why we wanted to meet you both for dinner…” Will started. He looked to Anna who smiled and nodded. “It’s a boy,” they said in unison.

“That’s fantastic!” exclaimed Georgie. “I’m so happy for you both…”

“Great…another Will running around…that’s all I need…” Skandar laughed.

“Men…” Georgie said rolling her eyes and then asked, “Any names picked out yet?”

“Colin Blake Moseley,” smiled Anna.

“I like it,” Skandar said.

“Me, too,” agreed Georgie.

The rest of the evening went by smoothly. Anna and Will made small talk with each other which was hard for Georgie to watch knowing how much they loved each other, but she knew it was a difficult time for both of them. The premiere was coming at the end of the month, interviews would start sometime next week, and both Skandar and Georgie could see that their friends were tired and stressed.

“Listen…Georgie and I…well, we’re worried about both of you,” began Skandar. “Is everything alright?”

Anna and Will looked at Skandar and Georgie, but avoided each other’s gaze. They weren’t exactly sure how to answer. They were still in love…and they definitely had wonderful days with each other, but they seemed few and far between right now. William was a patient person and would do anything for Anna, but anything didn’t seem like enough for her lately and it was beginning to take its toll on him. Anna on the other hand knew she was being incorrigible and it broke her heart to listen to her talk to Will the way she did sometimes. Between her hormones and lack of sleep she wasn’t her usual happy self and was surprised that William hadn’t divorced her because of the way she had been treating him.

“Will? Anna?” Georgie said wondering why they had gone quiet all of a sudden.

“Everything’s fine…really…” Anna said. “I just haven’t been myself lately…and Will has been having to deal with it…”

“Which I’m happy to do because I love you…I just want to make sure I’m doing enough,” Will said. He looked at his wife and she smiled. It was there way of apologizing to one another and acknowledging what had been going on. The cloud seemed to have disappeared from the table and the Moseley’s returned to their normal loving nature.

------------------------

When Will and Anna returned home, they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. It had been quite some time since they had showed any passion towards one another and now it was being unleashed. Will trailed kisses down Anna’s neck.

“I’m sorry…I’m sorry for everything, Will,” Anna breathed, trying to suppress the moan that wanted to escape her lips.

“I’m sorry, too…I haven’t been as understanding as I should be…this is hard for both of us…but we’ll get through it…” he replied against her neck, before capturing his lips with her own

“Hmmmmm…we certainly will…”

Will had needed this night with his wife to let her know that she was the most beautiful woman in the world. He knew that she had been having self esteem issues since the baby had been growing. Baffled was his first reaction when she had told him this because Will thought Anna was just as gorgeous, even more so.

Holding Anna close to him, Will caressed her face gently, “How are you feeling now, love?”

Sighing contentedly, Anna replied, “Wonderful…”

Will placed his hand over his wife’s swollen belly, “And how is the little one?”

“Sleeping, I think…he stopped kicking a little while ago…thank god…”

“I’ve been thinking, Anna…maybe, maybe we shouldn’t go to the premiere at the end of the month…and maybe we should avoid the interviews as well…”

“Why would we do a thing like that?”

“It’s just you’ve got three months left and you still get sick on occasion and weak. I just don’t want the stress from the premiere and press conferences to start effecting you…it isn’t healthy for the baby…”

“I’ll be fine, William. Really…but I’ll tell you what…I’ll see if Andrew minds if we skip the interviews…he shouldn’t mind…there’s only three anyway and they always ask the same questions…but we have to go to the premiere. I would never leave Skandar and Georgie like that.”

Will smiled, “That’s sounds alright, I suppose.”

Kissing her husband’s lips gently, Anna said, “I really do appreciate what you’ve been doing for me, Will. I know I haven’t been acting like it…but I do. I love you…I love you so much and I don’t want you to think…”

“I love you, too Anna,” Will said before she could continue. “Now go to sleep…I’ll be here when you get up…”

As Will caressed her cheek softly, Anna felt her eyes finally close as she drifted off to sleep.

-----------------------

Georgie sat in Soumaya’s room reading one of the books she had brought with her. Skandar’s sister had gone out for the day with some of her friends and Georgie had decided it would be best not to tag along. And Mr. And Mrs. Keynes had gone out for the day as well. Leaving her and Skandar alone, but Georgie didn’t want to bother him either. She assumed that he would go out with some of old school friends as well, so she was surprised when he knocked on the bedroom door.

“Come in,” Georgie said closing her book.

“Hey, brat…” said Skandar opened the door. He leaned against the doorframe and looked every bit of the smug teenager that he was

“Do you want something?” Georgie inquired.

“I thought that since my entire family has gone we could spend some time together…you haven’t really hung out with him since you’ve been here…”

“I didn’t know I was obligated…”

“Well, you are…”

“Says who?”

“Me…”

“And when have I ever listened to you…”

Rolling his eyes and throwing his hands up in defeat, Skandar snapped, “Do you want to go out or not?”

“Go where?” Georgie asked, raising an eyebrow with curiosity.

Smirking, Skandar shook his head, “I’m not telling you…you have to trust me…”

“Great…that’s never gotten me anywhere…”

“Fine…if you’d rather stay here…”

“Alright…alright…I’m coming…” Georgie answered. She grabbed her shoes and purse and followed Skandar out the door.

Skandar and Georgie walked the streets of London and thankfully were only noticed by a few autograph seekers. As they walked, a few stores appealed to their interest so getting to their destination was a bit delayed. After an hour and a few shopping bags later, Skandar had led Georgie to the Underground.

“Where are you taking me?” Georgie asked again.

“You and your bloody questions…” Skandar said. “Where is the one place you’ve always wanted to visit, but never get the chance when you’re here because of our schedules…and because you live quite a distance away…”

Georgie had to think for a moment. In all honesty, there were quite a few places that Georgie hadn’t seen. Every time she was in London, it was for a press conference or premiere and never had time to do anything else. She lived in Yorkshire which was quite a distance from the city so she didn’t come here often. And most of the time Skandar came to stay with her and even when she did stay with the Keynes family, Skandar’s mother and sister always made plans for all of the them. Not that she minded, of course.

And suddenly it came to her and she couldn’t stop the smile that crossed her face, “Kensington Gardens…” Georgie whispered.

“Peter Pan is your favorite story…” Skandar stated, a smug look on his face.

Dropping her bags, Georgie threw her arms around Skandar’s waist and hugged him tightly. Tears welled in her eyes, but she stopped them from actually falling. She had wanted to go to Kensington Gardens ever since she had first read Peter Pan. Her parents had always said they would take care, but unfortunately had never gotten around to it. They were always taking Rachel back and forth from where she had wanted to go.

“I hate you,” Georgie laughed.

Placing a kiss on the top of Georgie’s head, Skandar replied, “Surprise, surprise…come on, brat…we’ve got to catch the tube…”

---------------------------------

Anna had called Andrew and he, of course, said that it was fine if they didn’t attend the press conferences. He was just as concerned about her health as Will was. Skandar and Georgie would call them nightly giving them the updates on how the interviews were going and what questions were asked or what, if anything, was said about Anna and Will. The premiere was drawing closer and Anna had searched through all of her dresses and again couldn’t find a thing to wear. She knew that she truly wasn’t fat and that it was her child growing inside of her, but it didn’t matter. Her hormones were telling her otherwise. Anna didn’t feel pretty right at this moment and was afraid that when pictures of the premiere were published she‘d look horrible. There were way too many things going through her head right now and she wanted nothing more for Will to be home so he could make everything better…like he always did. Sitting in the middle of the floor of her bedroom, surrounded by practically every piece of clothing she owned, Anna began to cry.

----------------------

Will came through the door immediately sensing something was wrong. The entire downstairs was dark and usually Anna, knowing that he had gone out to get food, would have been waiting for him and had the dishware out. Throwing his keys on the table and placing the food on the kitchen counter, he called out for her but received no answer. As Will got closer to the stairs he heard crying.

“Anna!” Taking the stairs by twos, Will ran as fast as he could to their bedroom. He burst through the door and saw his wife sitting in the middle of the room sobbing. Rushing to Anna’s side, Will kneeled in front of her and cupped her face. “Anna…what’s wrong…what happened? Are you hurt?”

Her response was to launch herself into her husband’s arms. Anna buried her head against Will’s chest and her tears continued. Will had no idea what to do and he wouldn’t until she calmed down enough to tell him what was wrong. Holding her tightly, Will rocked her back in forth slowly in his arms whispering words of comfort. After a long while, Anna’s tears subsided. Will pushed back slightly, cupping his wife’s face once more and searched her eyes.

“You scared me half to death, Anna…” Will said softly.

Anna’s hands were clutching the front of Will’s shirt, “I’m…sorry,” she sniffed. “It’s just…all these different things hit me all at once…and the only thing I could do was cry…and you weren’t here…and…I…nothing in my closet fits me anymore…nothing…and the premiere is coming up…I haven’t been sleeping…and…Oh, Will…” Eyes welling with tears again, Will wrapped his arms around Anna once more.

“Why didn’t you tell me you hadn’t been sleeping?” asked Will, running his hand through his wife’s hair.

“Because I didn’t want to worry you…”

“It’s a little late for that, love…”

“I’m sorry…”

“Anna, I can’t help you through this if you don’t talk to me…I know things are hard…I know that your body is behaving differently because of the baby…and I want to make things as easy as possible for you…but you have to tell me when something is wrong…I can’t bare to see you like this…I can’t take it…This isn’t good for the baby…or you…and I know that you’re upset because none of your clothing fits you anymore…but you’re carrying our child, Anna…our baby…that’s you in me in there,” Will said placing a hand of over Anna’s stomach, “And you look so beautiful…looking at you…how beautiful you are…there are just no words to describe how I feel…I love you, Anna…and I’m not going anywhere…I will admit sometimes I do want to run and hide…but I would never, ever leave you. Ever. I just need you to tell me what you want me to do…Please…”

“I don’t know, Will…I’m just so tired…”

Helping Anna up from the floor, he motioned for her to get into bed and she nodded in agreement. After tucking her in, Will moved a few pieces of hair from her eyes.

“Are you going to be able to sleep, love?” he asked, concern obvious on his face.

“I should be able to…I usually can take naps during the day…it’s just at night that I can’t sleep…the baby seems to be a little more active then for some reason…”

“It’s three now…I’ll wake you in a few hours if you don’t wake on your own…alright?”

Anna nodded her head in agreement once again and Will leaned down to kiss her lips. As soon as her eyes were closed and her breathing was steady, Will went for his cell phone.

“Please pick up…” Will said into his phone and finally his prayers were answered. “Georgie…it’s Will…how soon could you get here?”

--------------------------

Skandar was driving a little faster than Georgie would have liked, but she needed to get to Anna. This was supposed to be her last night with Skandar and his family, but then Will had called her and told her what happened, so they concocted a plan. After calling her mum, Mrs. Henley immediately agreed to let Georgie stay with the Moseley’s for a few extra days, due to the circumstances. Georgie had insisted on taking the train, Skandar insisted on driving her.

“I could have taken the train…really…” Georgie said. Although she wanted to get to Anna as quickly as possible it still drove her crazy that Skandar treated her like a child sometimes.

“I’m not having this argument with you again, do you hear me? Stop with your bloody questions and your always wanting a bloody explanation…your not my girlfriend or my wife or my mother…I don’t have to answer to you…you‘re just an annoying little girl…” Skandar’s tone was harsh and his words cut her deeply. They bickered of course, but he had never used such a tone with her or said such harsh things. She wanted to believe that it was only his concern for Anna that was causing this reaction from him, but it hurt none the less. The rest of the car ride to the Moseley home was silence.

---------------------------

Anna awoke and glanced at the clock. 7:00pm. She had been asleep for three hours. After stretching her body, Anna headed downstairs to the living room, where she heard the television.

“Will?” she called, as she came down the stairs.

“In here, love…” he answered back.

When Anna entered the living room, she saw her husband sitting on the couch, watching television and drinking a cup of tea. The simple sight made her smile. Joining him on the couch, Anna sat beside him. She leaned over to kiss Will’s cheek and then leaned back against the sofa, placing a hand over her stomach.

“Did the little one let you rest?” Will asked, bringing his hand to cover Anna’s.

“Yes…but now he’s wide awake…” They both laughed when they felt the baby kick underneath their hands.

“I’ve got a surprise for you…” Will said. He stood from his seat and walked over to where his jacket was hanging. Anna saw him pull out his wallet and take something from it. He came back over, sitting once again next to his wife and smiled. “Georgie will be here in an hour…”

Furrowing her brow in confusion, Anna inquired, “What? Why?”

“Just listen…she’ll be here in an hour…and I know man’s number one rule is to never give a woman your credit card…but I think I can make an exception in this case…I know we’ve been so busy and you’re always tired…but I want you to take this…” Will said, handing Anna his credit card, “Spend whatever you want…buy whatever you want…a new dress for the premiere, new shoes…a whole new wardrobe…I don’t care. I’ve called several of your favorite stores in London, they know you’re coming tonight and they are going to stay open for you…I’ve got the list of the ones I called so you know…and I booked you a hotel so you and Georgie do not have to drive home late at night…a car will be here to take you into London by the time Georgie gets here…”

“Will…there’s no way…I’m not going to…” Anna protested, but was cut off by Will’s lips.

When Will pulled away, he pulled a strand of Anna’s hair playfully, “It’s not an option, love. You’re going to go…Georgie’s going with you…you’re going to buy whatever your little heart desires…I don’t care what it comes to…I just want you to be happy…I want you to feel beautiful…I want you to see you as I see you…and I know that since our baby is growing most of your things aren’t fitting right now…so go buy clothes that fit now…I’m sure you’ll get use out of them again someday…”

“William…” Anna whispered, gazing at him with tea filled eyes.

“Anna…I just want you to be happy…I felt like I was being ripped apart when I came home and saw you crying like that…I never want to see that again…I don’t want to feel that again…and I don’t want you to feel that way either…I know you don’t really care about material things…but I want you to have whatever you want…and tomorrow I‘m going to meet you and Georgie in London to go shopping for our son…” smiled Will.

Grabbing a fistful of his shirt, Anna pulled him to her for a passionate kiss, which neither wanted to end, unfortunately the need for air arose.

“I love you…so much. Thank you, William.”

“Anything for you my love…”
