[There's a bit of rustling. Clearly, someone's there, but that someone isn't talking. Yet. The someone takes a deep breath, and, having resolved to get all this off his chest, he starts talking.]So, you guys know how I was asking about Kurt after...you know, the big fight and everything? Yeah, so, there's a reason behind that. I think I should...

[Ok, that's a bit heartless, even for him.]
Look, no one was themselves. Except maybe those of us that were. That said, you don't need to worry about that shit now.

I'm not worrying, dude. I'm like, past worrying and onto guilting. Uh-- feeling guilty. And it sucks and I thought maybe telling everybody what happened would, I dunno, help somehow.

Finn-kun didn't have to tell everyone about this sort of thing.
[Promoted to "-kun" because Santana let slip that you two are the same age. Excuse him if he's acting a little funny about it lately, and glaring at you suspiciously.
...You must have a really EPIC calcium intake.]
And the only reason I was able to control myself enough to eat animals is because unlike most people under the influence of fantastical bloodwork I had a piece fo Yoite-kun's soul inside me still.
At least...that seems like the best explaination.
And if I hadn't called for help, Finn-kun wouldn't have been submitted to this kind of thing in the first place.
[Half your size, and he still manages to sound bossy, and manages to pin the blame squarely on himself. Uber masochist much?]
The responsibility for Finn-kun's condition is mine.
So the consequences of his actions while in that condition are mine as well.
Finn-kun's soul is...still clean, I think.

...And back on track.]
Dude, it's not your fault. I mean, maybe we can blame the vampires a little? But like. I messed up by not eating. You didn't mess up by being kidnapped. It's kind of that simple.

He's sharper than usual when he retorts. Trying to argue Gau out of something he's decided is like trying to argue the sea into not following its tides. Well meaning as you are, Finn, the force of Gau's didactic nature would grate down mountains.]
I wasn't kidnapped! I was attacked in an alley, and dragged underground! My guard was down! I should have known better, and my carelessness led to Finn-kun's position of trouble from the start!
It's not my place to be ungrateful- I mean-! It was really noble of you to come and help, but-!
But it's so...so careless for Finn-kun to neglect his family and obligations back home to save someone like me!
And if it hadn't been for me, I have no doubt Finn-kun would have been by Hummel-san's side.

My dad was a soldier. I don't think doing the right thing was...neglectful. Just right.
