Would someone mind telling me what kind of birds these are? I have never seen the likes of them before.

And they get rather upset when you try to pluck them.

They're turkeys. I'd suggest not plucking them and....well, not doing anything to them, but that doesn't seem to work either.

No, never. In general, the only meat we ate in Troy came from sheep or bulls. Never from birds.

They do seem a bit like poultry. And they could certainly provide a good number of meals, given their numbers.
