Will sleeps long and deep, briefly waking throughout the day and night as his body struggles against the fever.

Much later he wakes more fully realizing he's hungry but is too worn to get food so stays in bed, feeling weak and trying to remember what he said to Kate.

There is a knock.

[will_scarlett]

"Come in, tis unlocked I think." Will gets out from where he is in bed.

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy peers in.

"Hello Will, are you okay? I didn't wake you did I?"

[will_scarlett]

Will gets quiet for a moment as he thinks about that, he's still very worn and today has been strange,

"Um nay, dinna think so. Just tired is all though think the fever's gone."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy nods.

"I don't want to intrude if you're fine, just thought I'd see if you wanted a doctor."

He smiles slightly. "Or a friend. Or just soup or anything."

"Oh aye, would be best, dinna really get looked at last night just got up 'ere an slept. Bit 'ungry just been more tired then anythin'."

He doesn't have the shivers and unhealthy sheen from the fever any more, but Will still looks worn out and not well.

Guppy enters, medical kit in hand.

"I'll get you some food in a minute. How are you feeling?"

[will_scarlett]

"Tired, was snowin' when I came in an bunch o'folks are sick in Nottingham, must 'ave gotten sick too."

"Any other symptoms? How about when this started?"

[will_scarlett]

"'avena been feelin' good for the past few days but wasna able to rest, 'ad to take care o'anyone else. Then found a door 'ere an the fever was bad last night."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy gets an ear thermometer out of his bag.

"Hold still, this won't hurt."

He suspects they don't have ear thermometers in Will's time.

Will just stays still, not sure what the thing Guppy has is, but he trusts Guppy and he's a physician.

"It's taking your temperature."

He holds it for a second.

"A hundred and one point two. You're still a bit high, but not dangerously. Have you had any medication?"

[will_scarlett]

"Nay, just slept. Know Tuck 'as somethin' 'e's been givin' to folks but na sure what it was."

[guppy_sandhu]

"I can give you paracetamol, if you've not had anything else. That'll help you get the fever down and feel better."

[will_scarlett]

"'eard that name 'fore, it 'elps for 'urts an such."
