Fair is foul and foul is fair

Also amid the crazy of yesterday, I found out the Babes are doing Macbeth in the spring.

Don't care that it would be my FOURTH Scottish Play. Don't even care that I already did the male role thing (Malcolm, albeit as a woman) in the last one. (Relevant because this will be an all-female production.) I am SO THERE.

It was the one you were playing Malcom. I didn't think that was the one you directed, but I don't remember which you directed.

Nope, I directed the one before that.

That's right. You were there for the playing soccer with Big Mac's head. :-D

Are you hoping for a particular role? Or just anything?

I'm not sure yet. I've done the First Witch, the Third Murderer, the doctor, and Malcolm, and covered for Lady Macduff and Young Siward. Plus directed once and choreographed fights twice.

Lady M would be awesome, natch, but probably not high on the likelihood scale. I'd do just about anything with this group, though, so we'll just see how it shakes out.

And all female production is a cool twist on tradition. :)

It is indeed. Their spring show last year was actually their first show with any men. But this one will be their first full Shakespeare.
