My deepest condolences to you and to her family and friends. I am so glad that you were able to have such a person in your life. May her journey onward be filled with peace.
Thank you Posie, She was one of our Faery Tribe at Spoutwood. She came every year, and I encourage her to get involved and jury her jewelry. Unfortunately, her plans to do just that were cut short by here illness. She came this year, with bald head and medical mask. I fussed her constantly because she kept taking it off and a compromised immune system is a dangerous thing in a crowd like that. Then she reminded me that it may be her last Fairy Festival and she was damn sure going to enjoy it. She really loved the festival and I desperately hope her girls get to keep coming.
P.S. I know you never forget to, but maybe you can give Shannon and extra hug for me today. I hope that the spirit of gratitude and really valuing our children is Sienna's legacy.
