People die all the time. So is the nature of things. Most of them are heroes to someone.

I have just learned that Dave Stevens has passed away at age 52, from leukemia. Dave was the creator of the Rocketeer Adventure Magazine.

I have really enjoyed these last two 'obituaries' you've posted, even knowing next to nothing about either of these interesting men. I sent my husband a link to your Gary Gygax post...he, too, was a D&D enthusiast in the 80s, and went on to enjoy many other kinds of RP adventures.

Well, I guess, I can say I have "enjoyed" writing them....which is kinda of a weird thing to say. Both guys were to "young" as it may be, but Dave especially. So thank you for you kind compliments, and I dearly hope this is the LAST one I have to write for some time. I have had enough of my inspirational creators dieing for one week, thank you!
