Hi all! I just biked to work for the first time ever. Well, ever at this work, anyway. I biked to work once or twice when I was working at Lowe's in Queensbury, NY, and I biked almost every day when I was working at Rice and living at the Buyse household. Good for you! Email David and let him know, as he can't read his LJ...
He'll be happy - "Bike to Work Week" is something that he supports a lot and he'll be very happy to know that he influenced you at least a little bit.
(Oh, and on the sweating thing, I know he takes a hand towel and does a sink bath to stop sweating when he can't shower.)
It's beautiful today, you couldn't have asked for a better day...

I was already planning to do it today "as long as the weather's okay". That was the hook I input myself to justify not doing it if I really didn't want to. But I was up early enough, and it was, in fact, gorgeous.

Now my quads hurt. I worked them hard yesterday at my exercise class, so after that and biking... they're letting me know!

I used to bike to work more often and then I got lazy. I didn't realize that it was bike to work week. I should take it up again. The weather is great!

Indeed! It's unfortunate that I'm so busy; it it stands, I can really only afford to bike to work once or twice a week even if I were to start making it a regular thing. The weather is indeed wonderful for it, too. Though I've heard it's supposed to get hot again by the end of the week :-/

Also, you have been LJ-friended. I've known you had the journal for a while and just hadn't gotten around to it, but your comment reminded me.

Haahaa Nice. I always ride my bike to the T and then take the T to work.If it was a nice, warm, day and I got up early enough, I prob would have gone all the way to work with my bike. But since N.E. sucks and it's been raining all through Feb-May that never happened. HAHA So I got a new job at a animal hospital, 7 mins from my apart in Belmomt Ma. I'm excited. I start on Fri....well techn Mon. I'm excited. I'll ttyl. Shit I really need to call you. hehe hugs and tons of lil sis kisses.
