Wow, long update. I feel properly updated now. Man, didn't realize you had taken off so much of last week. We don't chat much lately. Sounds nice though. Looking forward to some time off myself.
Wow. 1) My parents do that "Are you alive!?" call or email when I am lax. I've learned that all they really want is a "I'm alive, but busy" email and then I'm off the hook. People find it odd though... 2) Did I loan your Worthing Saga or did Liz or what? I know I have at least 2 copies of it and they are slightly different (can't remember how, but one stops before the other or one begins in the middle of the other). I think there are some weird things going on with that book... Don't worry if you got confused... :) (I also have 2 copies of some other books that were edited between, it's always fun to compare...)
2) Liz pressed it upon me :) I read the foreword where it talked about the fact that it's a collection. Perhaps you have parts of the works that make up the collection, before they were included into a single unit? I also wonder if he wove short stories together to produce a whole. Because it almost seemed like that, given the style. I liked it, though. It worked.

There's a bit of a gap. There's a big push to attract engrs, though, so if Austin isn't happening enough for you . . .
