I had approximately 5 or 6 cans of beans in my cupboard that I knew would just sit there if I didn't cook them. So, I went online and found a recipe for barbecue chicken risotto. 1st Real Ultrasound
Monday we had the opportunity to see our baby in our first ultrasound. Well, it wasn't our first, but it's the first one since she started looking like a human. And it IS a she by the way :-). Hilarious and reminiscent of how I feel about pregnancy

I'm sitting here with my new puppy, Miles. He's an adorable lab/pit mix. We are trying to get him housebroken while at the same time getting him bigger so he can survive my cat, Cloud, who is still a jerk. Been a while I'm sure.
Things have been so damn different in my life lately. It was such a struggle to continue on the way I was. Eric was leaving and I wasn’t sure who would come home to me or if he would even WANT to come home to me. As it turns out, whereas I thought I’d grow stronger in my feelings and he’d want to be separate, the opposite happened.
