TF: Rare-Pairing Halloween Trick ‘o Treat

Authors Notes: I had fun doing the prowlxjazz Anniversary Challenge, if no one else enjoyed reading them. So when tf_rare_pairing announced their October challenge, I thought I might try something similar. Though this is going to be different as I have to write on a daily basis again. But that was fun when I did it before ( both times). So yeah… wish the ever-more-eccentric one luck?

Prowl groaned as he read the datapad on his desk.
“Meet me outside at the end of your shift.”
It was a simple message, no signature, but Prowl knew who it was from. And he wasn’t sure he wanted to go. Not after last time. Well, not precisely last time, more the events after it, when Ratchet had to pick all the twigs and leaves from the hinges of his doorwings. He decided not to mention exactly how they’d gotten there. Thankfully, his officer status meant that Ratchet didn’t argue. Much.
Prowl checked his chronometer. He still had several hours to go until the end of his shift. But knowing that Hound was waiting outside for him at the end of it? Made him want to finish sooner. Hound was obsessed with nature. And particularly interfacing while outside, surrounded by nature. And Prowl? Prowl really didn’t mind nature. And he did so enjoy interfacing with Hound.
Prowl checked his chronometer again. Still several hours left.
“Prowl to Hound.”
“Hound here.”
“I believe I’m due a break. Would you care to meet outside?”
“I’d love to!” Prowl grinned at Hound’s enthusiastic response. There was no need to make any other arrangements, they both knew where to meet. Prowl stood, doorwings trembling as he thought about what was to come.
And mechs said Hound was obsessed.
