TF: Rare-Pairing Halloween Trick ‘o Treat

Authors Notes: I had fun doing the prowlxjazz Anniversary Challenge, if no one else enjoyed reading them. So when tf_rare_pairing announced their October challenge, I thought I might try something similar. Though this is going to be different as I have to write on a daily basis again. But that was fun when I did it before ( both times). So yeah… wish the ever-more-eccentric one luck?

Tracks liked New York. He liked the hustle and bustle of the city. He liked the way it reminded him of Cybertron. Reminded him of the night cycle in Cybertron. Which reminded him of other things. When the sun went down on New York, life didn’t stop - if anything, it got better.
He idled on the road, parked up under a streetlight, the yellow glow reflecting off his finish.
“Tracks.” By all rights, he should have driven away when he heard that monotone voice. But he didn’t, even though many of his comrades would have. He heard the nuances in that voice. Transforming, he ended with one knee on the ground, balanced in a graceful way.
“Soundwave.” He nodded at the dark blue mech in the shadows. Arms reached for him and he melted into them with a quiet moan.
“Missed you.” He murmured against Soundwave’s tape deck.
“And I you.” Soundwave’s mask retracted and he tilted Tracks’ face up, pressing a kiss to his lips. They backed further into the shadows to continue their exploration of one another.
“Hey Tracks!” Raoul waved at him when he rolled into Sparkplug’s garage. Tracks transformed and gave Raoul a warm smile. “How was patrol, mech?”
“Uneventful.” The smile lingered on Tracks’ lips.
“Well, at least there ain’t no ‘Cons out there to bother you then.”
“No.” Tracks agreed. And the one Decepticon he had met certainly didn’t bother him. Quite the opposite infact.
