“That was lucky…” Silverbolt breathed a sigh of relief, slumping onto the rocky ground. He didn’t care that the rocks were digging into his plating. All that mattered was that he was on the ground in one piece. His brothers were nowhere to be seen, but he could feel them; raw concern for him leaking across the gestalt bond. He sent back reassurances that he was all right; damaged, but functional. They could wait until the battle was over to retrieve him. He certainly wasn’t going to be flying back to base any time soon.
“Well, what do we have here?” Silverbolt tensed at the low, malevolent growl.
“Motormaster.” He turned slowly, trying to dampen down the giddy feeling in his spark. It wouldn’t do for his brothers to feel what might happen. What he hoped would happen.
“Ain’t so lucky after all.” Was all Motormaster said, before he made a grab for Silverbolt’s wings, pinning the Concorde to the ground.
“Oh, I’m not so sure about that.” Silverbolt grinned, arching up against Motormaster.

Lightning flashed, giving away Silverbolt’s position. The other Aerialbots flew closer, the need to rescue their brother mounting.
“I don’t believe it.” Skydive muttered to himself.
“Believe what?” Fireflight chirped, drifting dangerously close before correcting himself.
“That ‘Bolt’s still in one piece and not kissing the ground in relief?” Slingshot dropped his altitude, coming closer to where Silverbolt lay, flat on his back.
“Nevermind…” Skydive muttered, transforming and landing near Silverbolt.
“All right ‘Bolt?” Air Raid grinned, oblivious to Silverbolt’s steaming chassis.
“Never better…”
