June Challenge
as of the moment i hit "post to journal" the June 2011 Pair A Day Challenge is live!
here's how it will work (format shamelessly stolen from prowlxjazz some time ago, but only now implemented!):
Step 1: look over the prompt calendar and comment on this entry to claim a day. one of the mods must approve your claim, but we're usually really fast about that. yes, if you're feeling really brave, you may claim every single day of the month. if you do so, just say that you're claiming the whole month in your comment.
Step 1a: each friday in the month (and the 30th) has two prompts. if you chose to post on a friday (or the 30th), you must state which prompt you are creating a piece for.
ETA Step 1b: you may claim at anytime, from now until June 29. once you've finished up one piece, you may also come back and claim another prompt if the muse strikes.
Step 2: create either art or fic for your prompt. ETA: minimum of 100 words for fic. the sky's the limit with art (but please be sure your characters are recognizable).
Step 3: post your work on the day your prompt is assigned to.
Step 4: enjoy all the other challenge submissions.
PLEASE NOTE: it is NOT necessary to state your pairing claim when you claim your prompt/calendar day. but do keep in mind the following forbidden pairings:
