According to latest reports, Lily has been released from the hospital and will continue treatments on an outpatient basis so that's good news. If she's feeling okay enough, I may visit them at home on Saturday.

Last Wednesday of every month ... I'll try to remember that!

Maybe B's love life is not as fucked-up as many poets' ... maybe the lack of angst is bad for writing but good for marriage?

Add to the signs of spring: That wonderful, rain-soaked smell of earth and rebirth.

I'm driving Krista to Eppley on Sunday ... coffee, maybe?

add to that: crazy humidity hair and making tornado watch announements over the college PA system ...

What time Sunday? I'm seeing Mama Mia at 2pm but am free for tea before and have reservations at M's Pub after. I'd love to see you and you know I live close to the airport anyway.

The PBX operator making the announcements at our building got hysterical. They really need to find someone who can do that job calmly.

That's funny - I always get complimented on my most professional intercom voice. "May I have your attention please ..."

Two weeks ago we were closed for snow. Why can't we ever just have a nice, gentle rain?
