We just saw it, and... honestly, I wish I hadn't. I seriously considered getting up and leaving about 20 minutes in. It's not that it was a bad movie. It was actually quite good. And it wasn't offensive or anything, it was just... thoroughly upsetting from start to finish. There were one or two "yay!" moments in there, but really not enough to make

Basically, it's about apartheid. Only they use aliens as an allegory for blacks in South Africa. It just kind of made me hate my species even more.
