My review of the new HP movie.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 REVIEW

I was in awe of this movie. So much so, that I’m going to make a list of scenes that I particularly liked. If you haven’t seen the movie, don’t read this, for it contains spoilers.

YOU NEED TO READ THE GODDAMN BOOKS, WOMAN.

Seriously. The Snape memories are way more detailed and heart-wrenching, the Ron/Harry friendship is one of the strongest in the series, and the Ron/Hermione hook-up is set up way better and brings them full-circle from the flirt/fighting in Goblet of Fire. The deaths are still off-screen and not dealt with (something I was pissed at the movie for not fixing), but you really do get a better sense of what's happening.

And it's Fred that died. The twin who, in the books, usually speaks first and starts most of the jokes. :(

I know should read the books. You know, I'll go to the bookstore tomorrow. :)

Yes, the deaths and how everyone reacted to them really bothered me. Especially after Voldie dies. I mean, I realize that he died and that's good and everything, but that doesn't mean you can just forget about everybody who just died. You know?

Yeah, that was my main complaint for DH the book. They have more room to deal with the emotions and everything, but it basically happens exactly the way it did in the movie (I think Fred dies on-screen, but the rest are glossed over). But it's still totally worth it.

Hermione and Ron's kiss didn't seem that random to me personally since we've been waiting for years for it to happen. But I agree with everything else and I loved the movie
