I just spent Saturday morning in work. It was dead quiet, and I got to sit next to a colleague I don't know so well.  We got talking about random stuff. Dave must be about the same age as me, as he was a fan of all the same kids' shows and had a Spectrum as a kid.  Apropos of this, he wrinkled his brow and asked whether I'd ever played the Spectrum

Surprisingly little luck on the walkthroughs actually.
Found a video on Youtube and all I can see is the player doing sod all for about 4 mins and then he suddenly gets past it. Evidently some of the intricacies are lost on me!
