Autobiographical Entry with Names and Details changed to protect confidentiality

I’m supervising an intern for her Master’s program. This helps me because the one day a week that I can give to Po’okela Elementary out of all of my other job duties is not nearly enough-and  it helps her because a good practicum site is hard to find.

This is the second piece that I've read of yours on counselling (social work?) and ... I think I love what you do, too, and that you can describe it so intimately . This is beautiful and hopeful and vivid and excellent. Thanks for sharing, and good luck in the contest & (more importantly) with the boy. : )

Glad to see that there are some good days at your job! For some of your autobiographical entries I've gotten to the end and haven't been able to think beyond the fact that I could never face these sorts of problems day after day. You are made of strong stuff indeed.

Lotta good days, lotta bad ones too. Kinda like life... and an insame childhood prepares you for working with insanity.

And how blessed you are to have a "rabbity-eyed", cautious intern instead of one who thinks she already knows everything. =op

I've read those reports before, but getting to see it from the inside, with the thought process, was highly enlightening. It's good to know that there are people out there who do the important work and love it.
