In which I rekindle an old flame

I hadn't gotten baked and wandered around Stanley Park in a long time, but had the enormous pleasure of doing so this afternoon with Vaguhn, his roommate, and a group of Roommate's friends. Man, what an awesome place that park is. If I ever have to be raped and murdered in a secluded, semi-forested region of a large city, I hope it's in Stanley

Stanley Park is one of the places I thought I'd see more of during my time in Vancouver. But I only ever went ~3 times, and by myself. I guess I'm too much of a city slicker.

Actually, there was also a certain well-known monthly bike ride that once went through the park before converging at a party in the middle of Lyons Gate bridge, cutting off commuters to/from North Van... Good times!

I'm in the same boat. I've only been in Stanley Park a couple of times myself, and mostly to entertain visitors from abroad. I ought to change that, though, it really is gorgeous. A nice place to get high in a tree, if I do say so myself!

Is the well-known bike ride the naked bike ride? Because that would be a truly hilarious thing to witness on the Lyons Gate Bridge. Take that, commuters! Take that, residents of North Van!
