I finally seem to be out of the never-ending grant-writing process. There's one more my boss wants me to attempt, but I don't know if I will. I'd have to write it in less than two weeks almost insuring another crazy stressful time

I definitely understand that work crunch, and the idea of sometimes having to turn things down for sanity's sake. One thing I've recently had reminded to me is that there are times when, no matter how nice the money is, it's just not worth the stress.

Sounds like it was a great show I've never been real big on tap, either, but I can imagine there are people who seem to do magic with their feet. No music required; they make their own! I've also got to take my hat off to someone who has found something that he loves that much and still brings him that kind of joy and fulfillment. I've only met a rare few people like that, and it's always a treat just to get to be around them.
