Well, hello there!

I'm gonna try and do some of this posting thing. In my mad gaming frenzy, I completely forgot to post about my life on occasion. I guess that's because there's been nothing major happening in my life -- no major fandom, no major family things (YAY!!!), no serious issues now that the cat's feeling better. So glad to hear things are going your way! It's about time. Everyone has had enough with crud and needs some sunshine.

Hey- are you coming to our meeting Saturday? Panera and SG1/SGA episodes..... you know you want to! =) If you can swing it, please come. If not, we understand.

Do you have a Kindle 1 or a Kindle 2? If you have a Kindle 2, it will read HTML files if you put them in the Documents folder and type file:///mnt/us/documents/filename.html into the browser.

I actually save the fanfic I like as HTML files and read them on my Pocket PC phone and my Archos 605 media player. If you have a Kindle 1, you can save the fanfic as a TXT file and read it.

I don't have a Kindle :( but I have a favorite e-book reader for the iphone that is extremely easy to use to read fanfic: Bookshelf I just save whatever fanfic I'm reading as an html file, and then I can upload it to the iphone with the Bookshelf server softwear (free download when you buy the app, which is very reasonably priced). Of course, you can also read books on it. :-) I've used the Stanza e-reader as well, paired with Caliber (which works okay, but the Bookshelf app/Bookshelf server works a lot better and is easier).
