Thanks! As a side note, you know how when you write something, you don't necessarily see everything that you're doing? I had no idea until the story was complete just how broken John was. It's that H/c fan in me I guess.

Such sweet, intimate moments.

There were so many times Rodney had wished he didn't care, things that had happened that he wanted to forget: the first time John left him to blow up a hive ship, the time that John disappeared into the shell of a bug, the way he'd looked when Todd sucked out his life-- He can never unlearn what John looks and sounds like when he is deeply afraid, when he's begging for Rodney's life.

And I love how there's still angst -- even though it's, fortunately, just remembered. Very nice. :)
