Oooh, yes! I really enjoyed this story in zine-form and it was a delight to reread. I love the world-building you do here, and the glimpses of what was going on in John's head were just perfect.

I'm a big believer in 'soft' SF, the psychological and sociological stuff, so I had a great time building this world and playing with gender issues and John's backstory--so much so that I was really pressed to get it done for the zine. ;) I'm so glad you liked it. Thanks!

The image hit him viscerally as memory fused with fantasy, thoughts of kneeling in the dirt as a veil was torn from his face. It did something to him, made his whole body react with heat and need.

Guh! John's conflicting emotions were both intriguing and hot. It was interesting to see the inverted society and how the men felt being subjected to objectification by the women. Lots of complex and fascinating images!

Thanks! I really like getting inside of John's head. Because he's an introvert, we don't see a lot of what is going on for him internally, so it gives me a chance to have lots of emotional conflict that no one else can necessarily see. So much fun. ;)

Ooh interesting world! I liked that Rodney and John already hadd a relationship of sorts and we saw it deepening for John a little here. Teyla rocked :)

Teyla is awesome, and I have missed her so much this season. I love her being all leader-y and competent, as you can tell. ;) Thanks!

Alien cultures are so much fun to play with, as if John. *g* I love that he is an introvert, and so much goes on in his head that we never get to see and he doesn't want to talk about. It makes for so many possibilities. Thanks!
