I developed a cell phone battery charging issue the week before Shibaricon. Since I was out of town for over a week, with no chance of dealing with it, I grabbed my old business phone, left an extended absence greeting saying "call my other phone at 414-yada yada". Checked VM every day, and didn't worry about how long it took to fix the issue

I remember having similar issues with my phone. Some people got really mad at me and took it way too personal. Of course, now its not working at all. Oh, love technology!
