Really? Is it Mokuba-san? Because I met him and he seems very nice. But I'll be happy to help however I can!

No, not Mokuba, though I'm interested in how that turns out, as well. One Jounouchi Katsuya. Hopefully you'll get a chance to talk to him.

Jounouchi-san?! He's my roommate!! He's very nice! He wants to get close to Kaiba-san? Hmm...I'll have to try to bring that up.

Wow, small world, isn't it? Such a coincidence. He's rather vulnerable about it, so don't push him too hard, eh? I'm sure he'd be glad of your support. And I would appreciate some help with Seto for him.

You really don't have to thank me ... I'm just glad you're alright.

It's not very often I feel the need to thank somebody for anything, much less actually do it. You did more than you think, and it'd be nice if you'd accept my thanks. Therefore we'll try this again: thank you.

...seriously? Why would you even bother? Especially if you'll have a price to pay...that wouldn't be equivalent exchange if you gave up something to get back what I lost.

Seriously? Because I feel like it. I can't say I much believe in 'equivalent exchange'. People do what they want. Sometimes you have to pay for your own mistakes, often you pay for others' without having a choice in the matter. At least, if I do it, I do it of my own accord.

"Equivalent exchange" is the law that I've followed since as long as I can remember; the first law of alchemy. I cannot help but still think in those terms...

Anyway, I cannot imagine why you would to help me, but...thank you...

even so, it feels wrong that he may lose something and gain nothing in return. If he does end up doing this...I will repay him one day...

[ooc- strikes only legible if you want them to be ;)]

Sometimes exchanges are equivalent, and sometimes they aren't. But if you feel the need for it, we can just say if I do this for you, you owe me one.

Hmm, what's this now? What kind of price is he talking about, Schuldig?

Too high. It ended up being something I couldn't pay.

What was it?

Triggers for a couple mental traps. Not ones I would want to have to deal with.
