The Bohri masjid is actually a lot different from Sunni or Shi'ite masajid. It has a LOT of room for women. Usually 2 floors are completely for women. Each floor overlooks the very center of the ground floor, i.e. the men's floor. The architechture is slightly different from Sunni or Shi'ite masajid in this aspect. Also, you have to have a Bohri ID card to be allowed to enter the masjid :)

The lecture sounds like it might be...interesting, lol. I'm sure you'll find something to do. Here's an idea: make some flashcards with a new Hebrew word that you want to learn on one side and its translation in, well, any language of your choice (English is my only choice, unfortunately). You'll be able to get a ton of Hebrew studying out of the way and you'll be able to carry them around really easily. I can't tell you how many hundreds of Hebrew words I have learned by doing that.

Your idea sounds great! Or, I could simply take my Hebrew language book along and answer questions in that! :)
