Close your eyes, hun, I'm sure you don't wanna watch. Watching me dance is like watching a bowl of jelly being fought over by a bunch of kittens :)

Dear Mr. Warren,

Thank you not only for teaching our Daniyal, but for preparing him for the rigors of medical school. We can only ask, though, that you double the work load you set for the young man. Unlike when he begins his medical studies, he still seems to have time to boogie the night away. He certainly knows how to cut a rug! He loves flapping his wings like a duckling. Perhaps you can have him demonstrate in class! I am afraid I may have inadvertently influenced his dance style. When he was but a wee lad, I used to read to him by the hour. His favorite book was "The Story about Ping," which begins:

"Once upon a time, there was a beautiful young duck named Ping. Ping lived with his mother and father and his two sisters and three brothers and eleven aunts and seven uncles and forty-two cousins. Their home was a boat with two wise eyes on the Yangtze river." While I am pleased that he has two wise eyes, I simply had no inkling he would also develop fowl behavior on the dance floor!

Sincerely,
Uncle Itai

That was such a silly little story. Ping! There's no moral to it and not even a proper ending :þ

Thank you for writing a letter to Mr Warren to ruin the rest of the school year for me :) You just keep giving me reasons to love you, Uncle Itai!

There's no place like home. Also, there's no place like a Hebrew class full of cute boys ;)

D and you are certainly seeing a lot of each other! It makes me smile, to think about the two of you. You said you went picnicking in the 'ir ha-'atikah. The Old City has places where you can picnic? I always thought it was an overcrowded place with just alleys and buildings!

Hey! Good to know other St. Mary-ans are on here. And from A-levels, that too!
Nice to meet you.

I'm in Pure/Applied Math (A). Mr Warren teaches us. Which batch are you in?

Physics is murder of the intelligence for me. But that's just because I'm not very interested in most of the theory parts. I do understand it, but I'm just not able to think along the lines that the examiners would like us to think. If you're interested in it, take it next year, you'll probably like it :)

Which other subject are you taking?

Hm.. we might run into each other in the hall some time. Unless Mr D'Souza shows up and beats us all the way to our next class like we're a herd of cows or something.
Wait. What's your name? Maybe I can find out about you and we can meet up?

Is Natasha [the really fair girl] in your Bio class? Or Tasneem Vali? Or even Jaffer? Because I know the three of them. Natasha and Jaffer are in Math with me.
I'm planning to take Bio and Chm, but I think I'd do much better at it than I'm doing in Physics because I like both the subjects. Bah.. can't wait to get over with this year.
