I just found out EK is gonna start operating a 3-class configuration to Newcastle. Implications being, 1) You can fly first class, big shot that you are, to Dubai, and 2) since I only work in 1st class, I have a chance of getting Newcastle layovers and invading your studentspace at some hypothetical futurepoint.

Oh gosh no, I'm not flying Emirates again unless I have to.. I mean, bloody hell, just a 20-kg allowance on a ticket that costs an arm and a leg? I had a to pay £100 for the "excess" 5 kg that I had. No offence, but British Airways are so much more civilized with their weight allowance.

The nomadic reality shifting you're talking about - I'll take a while to get used it I suppose, cuz I reckon I'll have to travel a lot in the future if I plan to keep in touch with my eye-poppingly large family at all.
