When we got back home from the hospital and from shopping at the supermarket, I got out of the car and saw a poor defenseless, featherless chick lying on the sidewalk. It was being feasted upon by little black ants ( Read more... )

um...LOOK AT IT! its hairless and gray and wrinkly!! ew. but i love all things 'baby'. especially baby hamsters! they are all pink and fuzzy!! eeeeeeeeeee *squeal*

I used to have hamsters. Such brats they were! One bit me once.

Thanks for the link, but the baby has moved on. It went quietly in the night, on my side-table, in the little sock-bed that I made for it.

The feeding was getting quite frequent.. it used to beg for food whenever it felt its nest being moved!

Little bugger got pulled to the other side - it died in the night. It was all lifeless and cold when I woke up today.

You can suck on anything you like lol.. not very nutritious, but still fun!

Well, I didn't hold it up to the A/C's vent for it to die.. I tried giving it some warmth by putting it in a makeshift nest made from a very warm sock. Bu alas :(
