Thursday was Confiscate-My-Camera-Phone Day, sponsored by Mr D'Souza and Mr Paul. They barged into our Chemistry class/lab while we were carrying out some experiments. Most of us were. We were already in a hurry, as it were, because we were short on time and there were many tests left to do on the silly compounds ( Read more... )

Yes, students do come up with petitions here to change test dates/ assignments. But it's good practice to never listen to them, because then they know they can walk all over you.

And why did they steal everyone's camera phone?

Wow.. so this practice is widespread!

They confiscated them because students aren't allowed to bring camera phones to school.. we were told so on the first day of school, but nobody really bothered because they never expected the authorities to check pockets or bags, much less barge in and take it away without warning.

Oh, that dreaded mobile check-up!

A girl barges into our classroom, shouting with the might of someone who just witnessed a birth of siamese twins, "They're confiscating mobile phones! Mobile checkup!" And the floodgates of shrieks opened, and then I heard how the teacher of the parallel class put all their mobiles into the cupboard for safe-keeping.
There were other ideas: putting the mobile phones in panties/bras, outside on the window frame... In the end, nobody came, nobody checked.

... I wont be able to look at champignons again, the same!

Oh my.. your teachers helped you?! That's sorta unfair, you know. But what the hell! It wasn't my phone that got confiscated :D
I think the check was only for A-level classes.. they always like to hit us the hardest.

Though, my mind wanders and begs the question: what would girls look like with a cellphone on one boob and nothing on the other. Recangular nipple, anyone?

I wat thinking more along the lines of tucking it between cleavage (well, those who had any, anyway). Rectangular nipples could be starting a new trend, you know! It'd look like the prodigal son/daughter of the sickpack, running away into the mountains to live in sin.
