Maybe Santa will bring me my very own set of unbreakable lab apparatus so I can peacefully carry out my experiments.

By the way, a mortar is a rather generous description of what I think you want to describe ;) More like a measuring cylinder, ne?

Actually, it's the first time my name's gone into the breakage register [in the Biology lab :)], despite the fact that I've broken a glass rod.. which was very thin and useless anyways.

Ah well.. we learn from our [expensive] mistakes :)
