I wrote my Mechanics 1 and 2 papers yesterday. Mechanics 1 was good, really easy and all that. Mechanics 2.. uh, not all that good. For one thing, I caught a cold while solving the Mechanics 2 paper. Just kidding. But really, I'm sorry to hear about your cold. I've had things like that happen to me just out of no where, and I know how much it sucks. I sure hope my little Danu feels better soon!

Speaking of movies: one movie not to see is The Omen. It is waaaay too scary. There is a scene that takes place in Israel, however, so that was redeeming. Thankfully my friend paid for my ticket so I was watching it on his dime and not mine! : P Anyway, feel better ASAP! We can't have you be so sick for too long!

You know, I was gonna put something down about my boyfriend but I just decided not to.. because I thought nobody would be interested - but as it turns out, I'm wrong.
The BF and I talked this morning. He had an exam in the afternoon and had to study.. but neither of us cared. We talked for about a half hour and then my cold got the better of me so I hung up.

Really? The Omen is scary? I don't have any more cash left to spend on another movie so I guess I'll have to pass on this one. We saw its preview though.. and I wasn't paying much attention. But if they have a scene in Israel in it... that might just bring about a change in plans.

hey.. i saw the davinci code too... i didnt read the book though. i thought it was an interesting concept. i think its funny how all the christians are freaking out and the vatican is keeping people from seeing it. man, so insecure about their faith!

i had a friend tasneem in high school... i always wonder what she's up to. i used to like going to her house because her mom would play cool middle eastern music and her grandma lived with them, which is unusual in the states. old people go to homes around these parts :) i wish i knew then what i know now. i wouldve asked her more questions... and invited myself to dinners more (for authentic food) .. hehehe.

hahaa... i went to school with a khaled, a tasneem, an abdullah, my next door neighbors were iranian :) i dont hail from the sticks, ya know :) actually, thats what i love about having grown up in NY... i grew up with people from all over and it was never a "big deal," which is why i wish i knew then what i know now. i didnt know to ask tasneem about her country, religion and culture (which is why i have no idea where she was from!! argh!!!). they were just my classmates. every so often she'd come in with henna on her hands and we'd be like, "whoa, thats awesome!" and then turn back around in our chairs when class started. man

And, heh, "Mega Hall - not as big as it sounds". *laugh* I also really enjoyed the 'DaVinci Code' and felt that the critics slighted it for no reason. At least it was enjoyable - you can never really go by what anyone else says on things like that.
