"You’re not answering your calls," Tommy explained. "I won the contest on who got to come here. Or lost it, depending on how you want to look at it."
Aww. I like Tommy :) [did in the show, too, before they decided to make him a complete bonehead ala Joe *misses Joe* ] I like how he mentioned "won" first.
Hee! Vicky ain't no fool! and neither is Tommy! Ha!
As he walked away, Tommy turned to look questioningly at Kevin. Kevin ignored him, tutting quietly to himself as he read the menu. Was he blushing? I'm imagining Kevin trying not to blush. his inner voice screaming, "look casual! look casual!"[
And Tommy's "worse" than Sarah! Did I mention I love Tommy?
complete bonehead ala Joe *misses Joe* ] Don't get me started! I really liked Joe. Another example of them going way beyond what is believable. They wanted to get Sarah divorced? Fine. We already knew they were having problems. We knew he was somewhat inappropriately nostalgic for his carefree days. The fights and the Rebecca thing, I can accept. But the custody issue?! Even the weird getting back together with his ex thing - all for no other purpose than to completely warp his character just to get him off the show.
look casual! look casual! Hee! That's totally what he was thinking.
Did I mention I love Tommy?Oh, me too. With some distance from season 3 now, I'm starting to realize just how much I love him. I'm trying to make a conscious effort in this fic to bring Tommy and Kitty in more. Obviously even in the show, they're close, but if Kevin was (pretending to be) a Republican, then I think they would be even closer
( ... )
I love Tommy (and I see I am not alone :))! And I enjoyed Kevin/Tommy conversation.
Tommy shrugged. “I’m not completely clueless. I’m not Justin.” I really like those little 'compliments' they give each other! (We exchange the same kind with my sisters. LOL! :D)
Love Tommy in this. Strangely I believe that the real Tommy would have reacted like this also. I never really got the feeling that he disliked having a gay brother, although he might not understand Kevin.
Strangely I believe that the real Tommy would have reacted like this also I think so too. Non-Pod-Person Tommy was that relatively-quiet, non-pushy rock that I think Kevin would have needed the most right then.
Kevin looked at him incredulously. “OK, first - all you gay guys? Second, what’s with the stereotyping?” Yay, there's the unstereotypical Kevin that I love :).
Tommy shrugged. “I’m not completely clueless. I’m not Justin.” ::laughs::
