well finally managed it.This lunch time I went on a tour of John Ryands Library Deansgate. Very glad I did, really liked the place. It's late 19th century gothic and quite church like. Some really cool architecture and stone carving. They've also got some pretty cool books and manuscripts,a few of which we got to see. My favourites were a five

tours (£1) are run on wednesdays at 11 & 12, but you need to pop in around 10 to book on as they fill up.

It's quite small, but very cool.
