well finally managed it.This lunch time I went on a tour of John Ryands Library Deansgate. Very glad I did, really liked the place. It's late 19th century gothic and quite church like. Some really cool architecture and stone carving. They've also got some pretty cool books and manuscripts,a few of which we got to see. My favourites were a five ( Read more... )

you have until the end of august

tours (£1) are run on wednesdays at 11 & 12, but you need to pop in around 10 to book on as they fill up.

It's quite small, but very cool.

Did you know that John Dee,Queen Elizabeth's astrologer and famous Enochian magician was once a librarian there?You can feel his vibes if you know the right chant but it's dangerous.Over and Out
