well finally managed it.This lunch time I went on a tour of John Ryands Library Deansgate. Very glad I did, really liked the place. It's late 19th century gothic and quite church like. Some really cool architecture and stone carving. They've also got some pretty cool books and manuscripts,a few of which we got to see. My favourites were a five hundred year old cook book and the oldest known piece of the new testament, dated 125AD. Not a christian, but thought that was very cool. Would definately recommend anyone who's not been & is in Manchester pay a visit before it closes for 2 years for a refurb.
After that went to the bank to sort out the latest collection of fuck ups, they've appologised lots, hopefully all sorted now.
After work headed down to MRI to visit Karen C. Hadn't gone earlier as she was only supposed to be in for a few days. She didn't expect me, so think was a nice suprise. Get well soon Karen.
Plan to spend the night looking for my camera which I've put somewhere. Really want it for friday, but must have for Sunday/Monday as am in Edinburgh!!
