There was a point today, walking back to the car in the rain, where Heather and I just looked at each other and said at almost the exact same time, "What a day!" And not in a good way. Today seemed to be about the best laid plans gone awry, but definitely turned around later in the evening

I'm SO excited for the Wake/FSU game it's not even funny. I'm going straight from class to tailgate. I live for night games.

More like LAST year we almost lost to Duke. At least this year didn't come down to a 14-13 win on a blocked field goal. Jesus, that was a nailbiter.

It should be a good game, for sure! If FSU can stay disciplined on defense and avoid the offensive mistakes of last year (mainly the two interceptions from the 10-yard-line), I think we'll be okay. Still, "revenge" games haven't exactly gone well this year for other teams (see: Florida-Auburn and West Virginia-USF). Guess we'll see! I like Wake. Grobe is a class act and really, they saved Florida State last year by forcing the needed coaching changes!

I thought the Duke game this year was like 40-36? That's pretty close! I know Wake will be up on Thursday, though.

The Duke/Wake game WAS really close this year, but not nearly as close as last year is what I was saying. Especially considering how well we did last year in other games, to almost lose to Duke is kind of like that ugly birthmark on the face of the season.

First of all...yay for FSU winning and yay for us putting that Saturday in the books! Ugh. What a nightmare of a day. I know it could have been A LOT worse! Thanks for putting up with my bitchiness :-) I love you, my little 'Nole buddy.
