I swear, I'm never buying a computer from a store again. I've had my "new" PC for just over a year now, and I think I can safely say that I'm less than impressed. I don't understand it; I mean, it's got an Athlon 3400+ processor, a gig of RAM, and an awesome ATI video card... Yet I can barely run Lego Star Wars II!? WTF ( Read more... )

Thanks... If worse comes to worse, I will just do a fresh install of Windows - it wouldn't be the first time!

that really sucks, I'm sorry. I have had the same dell for almost 5 years now and it's just starting to get on my nerves. :)

I really hate the fact that you have no opportunity for recourse either.

I think three years is the cut-off time. After that, your computer is so obsolete that it's just frustrating. :-P So you should upgrade! I've heard good things about Dell... My parents have one that they've been using since 2000. Talk about obsolete...!
