1) I just came back from another two hour wushu session.  There was only one other student besides myself, which apparently gave my teach a good excuse to torture us to death.  Damnit people don't use midterms as an excuse to skip (says the hypocrite who ditched last week)!!!!! So today I started and finished Karin Lowachee's Warchild.  It's the first in a series, but unfortunately my library doesn't have the other two (Burndive and Cagebird).  It's a shame, because I almost literally could not stop reading it.  I rarely, if ever, read science fiction novels--especially space opera-ish ones like this one sounded like ( Read more... )
