I suggest that if you can find a copy of Nikolai Tolstoy's "The Quest for Merlin", it might make interesting reading. I learned a great deal from it, and it caused me to see the sort of things you refer to in an entirely different light.

I think it is something that you can only realise for yourself. I think the bottom price was 47 cents ;) And it is a good read anyway ---

I didn't know if your application was your own insight, or the driving point of the book.
