It has been two years since we lost a part of our dignity. Katrina hit. The government did nothing right. And still haven’t. It seems like it is up to us personally to take care of our own.

She was just featured on one of the cooking shows over the weekend... perhaps a show hosted by Alton Brown. i am pretty sure they said Bon Appetit named Willie Mae's Scotch House as the Best Fried Chicken in the US. They also showed a brief clip of people rebuilding the place after the disaster too.

You sure do get around... even outside the leather and rubber events. *grin
