Well, after a little shove in the right direction and some good advice from various sources, I've made my first iconage using light effects. These are all Neil Finn iconage, all text is lyrics by the man himself.

That's Neil's older brother Tim. Or tumfun if you like ;)

Neil got his first real break when Tim invited him to join Split Enz when one of the other guys left. Neil was only 19 and had never played an electric guitar before ...

wow, those are extremely good, i've nabbed 2, 47 and 52 and will credit. you may want to post this link on www.onlytalkingsense.org as they all have a *slight* icon fetish and instantly become fans of these!

I particularly like the red drawn to the flame one. That with the really vivid blue eyes that pop in comparison make it a great icon in my opinion.

Aww, thanks! While we all know Neil has lovely brown eyes, I just couldn't resist playing around there :)

That's sarcasm, right? After all, Neil's eyes ARE blue anyway, even without the added fun of your lights.

Lol, I always thought they were blue, but I was watching "Farewell to the World" and there were prolonged close-ups where his eyes definitely looked brown. Therefore I thought I'd been wrong my entire life, lol.

So ... for the record ... blue or brown?
