Well, technically speaking, anyway.

Yes, a new trailer for the forthcoming Series 8 was shown this evening on BBC One ahead of the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony. Don't get too excited - it's just a shortened version of the one shown during the World Cup final with no extra shots I can see

Ohh, thank you for the update! They are rather ramrodding him to the masses aren't they? Think they're worried about going back to the 'traditional Doctor' look and stepping away from the New Who look (which is a whole level of laughs in and of itself...the Doctor is the Doctor no matter WHAT he looks like and being the Doctor he gets his own level of Hot), but the attitude is...pretty shallow on the face of it. Like they expect their audience members to be idiots and mentally dull. Which, ummm. No.

Sorry about the rant. Just tired of the skewed perception on their audiences by networks/network management. Meh.

Buy a sure to be very pricey (and hotly contested!) limited edition 50th Anniversary boxset simply in order to own The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot? I think not, actually.

Oh, dear. And here I was hoping that would be out in something reasonable. :/

My conspiracy theory is the Beeb has recovered missing eps for all the serials and are doling them out when ever they need some publicity.

I wish the boy would hurry up and appear. Is it August yet? I want some new icons!
