5 AM. Giving this whole international flight thing another shot! I was supposed to leave for Madrid yesterday but my connecting flight got pushed back so far due to the weather that I missed my flight to Spain. The rest of the group got there through standby seating on earlier flights when shit started to get delayed. Just me and another girl got

Was the delayed airport in Chicago? I absolutely hate Chicago, I don't think I will fly out of there again, nor use American Airlines.
Our flight to Paris was delayed only 2 hours but my friend wasn't there to meet us and we had to wander around until a taxi knew the address I had.
But American Airlines wouldn't change our flight home because I didn't want an overnight layover in London and they said my tickets wouldn't allow a stay over and all this crap and said for $4500 I could change my ticket to another.
So we just ditched them and went to Italy. Meridiana.it has the cheapest flights from Rome to NYC ($250!!) crazy. We took a ferry over from Croatia and a train up to Rome and then a train from NYC home.
I didn't want to leave Europe, so awesome.
