John hangs up with Aeryn, grabs the sea monkeys and heads out the door. Of course, in doing so, he forgot his shoes and socks so he's barefoot and grinning.

He knocks on Aeryn's door.

"Special delivery!"

Aeryn opens the door, not thinking to look at his feet because they're his feet. "Hi," she says, and lets him and the sea monkeys in.

As he's coming by, he leans in and kisses her cheek before coming the rest of the day into the room.

He sets the sea monkeys on the desk.

"There we are."

She closes the door, coming over to look in on the sea monkeys, because she really hasn't been paying enough attention to them. She runs her finger over the side of the tank, not that they ever notice. They're already bored with her. It's an easy relationship.

She looks back up at John. "So my detention is funny."

He grins again. "Kind of, yeah. It's sorta funny."
